How does Activity Data get into my Active For Good account?
Activity data gets into your Active For Good account by connecting other accounts to it.
These other accounts are typically either your preferred fitness tracker account(s) (Fitbit or Garmin), or the account you've associated with your mobile device platform's native fitness app (Apple Health, Google Fit). You are free to connect any (or all!) of supported activity tracker accounts that you use to your Active For Good account.
To connect a tracker (HealthKit, Google Fit, Garmin, Fitbit)
- Sign into the Active For Good app (iOS or Android)
- Tap the menu icon (top left corner) and choose Trackers
- Choose the tracker type you'd like to connect and follow the prompts. (If you need to sign in, be sure to use the credentials of the activity tracker account – Fitbit, Garmin, or Google Fit – not your Active For Good credentials
To disconnect a Garmin or Fitbit account:
- Sign into the Active For Good app (iOS or Android)
- Tap the menu icon (top left corner) and choose Trackers
- Select the tracker and choose Disconnect From Account
To disconnect Apple Health (HealthKit) data:
- Open your iOS Settings App
- Choose Privacy
- Choose Health
- Choose Active For Good and de-authorize
To disconnect Google Fit data:
- Delete the Active for Good app from your phone.
